  • Translate complex research data into actionable insights and clear, compelling reports to effectively advocate for the European user perspective across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Contribute to the strategic growth of Sungrow's user research function by building and maintaining a knowledge database and staying abreast of market, technology, and design trends.

📝 Enhancement Note: While the role is titled "User Researcher," its responsibilities and the company's industry (green tech, renewable energy) suggest a strong focus on understanding user needs within a technical and B2B/B2C energy solutions context. This implies a need for researchers who can bridge the gap between technical product capabilities and end-user adoption, potentially involving both consumer and professional user groups. The emphasis on European markets also points to a need for cultural and regional understanding in research methodologies.

📈 Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a full spectrum of user research methodologies, including in-depth interviews, usability tests, surveys, diary studies, field studies, and on-site observations, tailored to the European market.

  • Proactively identify and analyze user needs, behaviors, pain points, and expectations across Sungrow’s residential, commercial, and utility-scale energy solutions.

  • Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights, effectively communicating complex data to product managers, designers, engineers, and executive stakeholders.

  • Develop and present structured, data-driven research reports and presentations that champion the European user perspective and inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user research insights into tangible product improvements and innovative design solutions, ensuring a user-centric approach from concept to delivery.

  • Establish and maintain a centralized user research knowledge base, documenting key findings, personas, and user journey maps for ongoing reference and strategic alignment.

  • Continuously monitor and analyze relevant regulatory, market, technology, and design trends impacting the renewable energy sector in Europe to inform research strategies and identify emerging user needs.

📝 Enhancement Note: The responsibility to "Build and maintain a user-research knowledge database" suggests the need for strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to research management, beyond just conducting individual studies. This implies a role that contributes to building foundational user understanding for the organization.
