Job Title: SAP CPIT Product Processes and Solutions iXp Intern (f/m/d) - AI Prototyping & Agentic Routines

Company: SAP

Location: Walldorf, Germany

Job Type: Intern

Category: Operations Technology / Product Management Support

Date Posted: May 29, 2026

Experience Level: Student / Entry-Level (0-2 years)

Remote Status: Hybrid (2-3 days in office required)

๐Ÿš€ Role Summary

  • This internship focuses on building and implementing AI-powered solutions and automations within SAP's Corporate Processes & IT (CPIT) organization, specifically supporting Product Processes & Solutions (PP&S).

  • The role involves hands-on development of agentic workflows and prototypes to enhance executive office operations and demonstrate the practical application of AI in product lifecycle management.

  • Successful candidates will leverage a bias for action, technical curiosity, and practical coding skills to deliver tangible, fast, and often disposable solutions.

  • This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and automation platforms, within a global enterprise software leader.

๐Ÿ“ Enhancement Note: While this is an internship role, it aligns with a "Revenue Operations" or "Sales Operations" trajectory by focusing on process optimization, efficiency gains, and the application of technology to improve operational workflows. The emphasis on prototyping and building solutions for executive operations suggests a strong link to GTM (Go-To-Market) enablement through enhanced internal processes.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Primary Responsibilities

  • Office Automation & Operations:

    • Identify recurring tasks within the Executive Office (e.g., status reporting, scheduling, data aggregation) and develop automated solutions to reduce manual effort.
    • Design and build reusable templates and workflows that streamline operations for the leadership team.
    • Document all developed solutions comprehensively to ensure maintainability and adaptability by others.
  • AI Prototyping & Proof-of-Concept Builds:

    • Rapidly prototype agentic workflows for specific use cases, focusing on speed, demonstrability, and a "build-to-learn" approach.
    • Experiment with and test new AI tooling, including LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot), MCP servers, Claude Code, and Joule integrations, in the context of real office and internal operational tasks.
    • Maintain a concise log of experiments, their outcomes, and any reusable learnings derived from AI prototyping efforts.
  • Ad Hoc AI Support:

    • Provide quick, informal AI support to the leadership team (LT) to unblock immediate challenges before they escalate

Application Requirements

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a technical degree such as Computer Science or Business Informatics with hands-on experience building with LLMs and basic coding skills in Python or JavaScript. A bias toward action and fluency in English are required.
