Own the end-to-end user experience for CanadianSIM's Shopify ecommerce platform, focusing on optimizing the customer journey from landing page through to post-purchase activation.

Leverage data analytics, user behavior analysis, and experimentation frameworks to identify friction points and implement data-driven design solutions.

Develop foundational UX designs for a future mobile application, contributing to enhanced customer activation, account management, and self-serve support experiences.

Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure scalable and effective implementation of UX/UI designs within the Shopify environment.

๐ Primary Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive analysis of the customer journey, specifically examining the flow from initial landing pages, through plan selection, checkout, and into post-purchase onboarding and activation processes.

Utilize a suite of analytics and session replay tools, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar, and Shopifyโs native analytics, to identify user behavior patterns, friction points, and areas of trust erosion.

Translate complex user insights and data analysis into actionable design recommendations and clearly defined test hypotheses for A/B testing and other experimentation methods.

Design and iterate on key user interfaces and flows within the Shopify ecommerce platform using Figma, focusing on improving information architecture and simplifying product decision-making processes.

Optimize critical page experiences, including the homepage, plan/product detail pages, the entire checkout path, and content related to "how it works" for eSIM activation.

Partner effectively with development teams to implement scalable, Shopify-compliant UX/UI components and ensure designs are technically feasible and maintainable.

Lead the Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) roadmap, including prioritization of initiatives, management of the testing cadence, and meticulous tracking and reporting of experiment results.

Plan and execute various A/B tests, Call-to-Action (CTA) tests, landing page optimizations, and checkout flow improvements to systematically enhance conversion performance.

Present experiment results and design recommendations to stakeholders, clearly articulating the expected impact, key learnings, and proposed next steps.

Enhance trust and clarity within the eSIM category by improving the usability of plan differentiation and comparison, ensuring transparency in pricing and terms, and incorporating credibility signals and reassurance content.

Develop user-friendly guidance for eSIM activation processes to boost overall user confidence throughout the purchase journey.

Contribute to the early UX groundwork for a forthcoming mobile application, focusing on user flows for activation, onboarding, account management, troubleshooting, self-serve support, renewals, and add-ons.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Experience:
