๐Ÿ“ Enhancement Note: This role is an engineering-focused design position, not directly within Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM functions. The enhancement focuses on translating the provided HVAC design responsibilities into a structured job description format, highlighting leadership and technical depth relevant to an engineering context.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently apply advanced engineering techniques to HVAC system design and problem-solving, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry best practices.

  • Prepare comprehensive Air Flow Diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) autonomously using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

  • Develop detailed equipment layouts for critical HVAC components such as Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), blowers, and chillers.

  • Create detailed 2D drawings for air side systems, including ducting and accessories, as project requirements dictate.

  • Perform equipment modeling based on vendor data, ensuring accuracy and integration into the overall project design.

  • Execute hands-on 3D modeling in E3D, specifically routing HVAC ducting and accessories for offshore projects, adhering to Air Flow Diagrams and PIDs.

  • Extract General Arrangement (GA) drawings in PDMS for comprehensive project visualization and documentation.

  • Support equipment selection and modeling processes in accordance with KBR's support standards.

  • Generate accurate HVAC Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for procurement and project cost management.

๐ŸŽ“ Skills & Qualifications

Education:

  • Preferably a Diploma with a strong focus on HVAC design and modeling.

  • While a diploma is preferred, significant relevant experience in commercial HVAC systems may be considered. Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC designing and modeling activities.

  • Specific experience within the Oil and Gas domain is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience in Offshore projects will be considered a significant advantage. Required Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in HVAC system design principles and applications.

  • Expertise in preparing Air Flow Diagrams and PIDs.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently prepare drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation.

  • Hands-on experience with E3D modeling, including routing of ducting and accessories for complex projects.

  • Experience in General Arrangement (GA) drawing extraction using PDMS.

  • Proven ability to generate accurate HVAC Material Take-Offs (MTOs).

  • Strong technical communication skills in English, enabling clear articulation of complex design concepts.

  • Ability to act as a self-starter, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge or experience with S3D (Smart 3D) modeling software.

  • Experience specifically with HVAC
