  • Own the end-to-end User Experience (UX) for Bjak's core AI-native application surfaces across multiple platforms.

  • Design intuitive and reliable user flows for AI-assisted tasks, from intent capture through to successful task completion, including robust error recovery mechanisms.

  • Translate complex AI system behaviors and user needs into clear, controllable, and trustworthy product interactions.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to define requirements and deliver high-fidelity design solutions.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to identify pain points and iteratively improve the user journey.

  • Lead the UX design for Bjak's core application surfaces on iOS, Android, and web platforms.

  • Design comprehensive user flows for AI-assisted tasks, encompassing intent capture, progress tracking, AI decision surfacing, user confirmation, and seamless task completion.

  • Develop strategies for communicating AI's actions, reasoning, and decision-making processes to users in a transparent and understandable manner.

  • Map and design user interactions for a wide spectrum of AI states, including loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, stalling, failing, and recovering from errors.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Software

Application Requirements

Candidates must have professional experience as a UX designer for consumer mobile or web applications with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in Figma and the ability to design for complex, non-deterministic AI systems are essential requirements.
