📈 Primary Responsibilities

Collaborates with the Real Estate team and external architectural/consulting partners to produce construction documents for new, existing, and franchised bakery developments.

Ensures all construction documents align with the company's design objectives, architectural guidelines, and quality standards, effectively communicating and executing the brand's image.

Provides creative direction to architects for custom or unique site conditions, developing innovative design solutions for space planning, construction details, material selection, and branded storefronts.

Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in architectural, engineering, and interior design, supporting technical needs and requirements for the overall development program to ensure best-in-class design.

Communicates design solutions using company-specified presentation formats and industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Bluebeam.

Reports on project progress, utilizing analytics, lessons learned, and best practices from previous projects to inform and enhance Design Standards.

Oversees the design process to ensure designs meet company, jurisdictional, and landlord design criteria, and that construction documents comply with internal quality standards, building codes, and health and safety regulations.

Communicates efficiently with the broader project team regarding progress, issues, and resolutions.

Tracks architectural design changes and modifications, assessing their impact on the bakery development budget.
