🚀 Role Summary

• Drive product design strategy for critical Quality & Safety tools within Procore's construction technology platform, focusing on user-centric solutions.

📈 Primary Responsibilities

• Define and execute design strategies for the Quality & Safety product suite, ensuring alignment with Procore's overarching product vision and business objectives.

• Develop high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, user flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes to clearly communicate design concepts and solutions for cloud-based SaaS applications.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand user needs, market opportunities, and product requirements, translating them into compelling design solutions.

• Partner with Engineering teams to ensure feasible and high-quality implementation of designs, providing clear specifications and ongoing support throughout the development lifecycle.

• Conduct generative user research and usability testing, both remotely and in-person at job sites, to gather insights and validate design decisions with Procore users.

• Advocate for the user by presenting design rationale, research findings, and proposed solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, influencing product direction.

• Contribute to the evolution and adherence of Procore's Design System, ensuring consistent UI patterns, brand identity, and user experience across the platform.

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, providing design expertise and feedback to the product development team.

• Uplevel the design craft and user experience standards within the Quality & Safety division through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and the application of best practices.

• Utilize design success metrics and user feedback to inform design iterations and prioritize efforts for maximum product and user impact.

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to define and execute design strategy for complex product areas.

• Expertise in creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes using leading design software such as Figma or Sketch.

• Strong understanding of user research methodologies, including generative research and usability testing, with the ability to synthesize findings into actionable design insights.
