Location: United States

Job Type: Full-Time

Category: User Experience Research / Product Insights

Date Posted: February 22, 2026

Experience Level: 5-10 Years (Mid to Senior Level)

Remote Status: Fully Remote

🚀 Role Summary

  • Drive deep customer understanding and product experience through strategic UX research initiatives.

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research studies.

  • Translate complex user insights into actionable recommendations that directly shape product strategy and roadmap.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to champion the customer voice and ensure data-informed decision-making.

📝 Enhancement Note: This role is positioned as Senior UX Researcher, indicating a need for leadership in research planning, execution, and stakeholder management. The emphasis on "shaping product decisions," "driving decisions that directly impact product strategy," and "mentoring non-researchers" suggests a strong focus on impact and influence beyond just delivering findings. The bilingual requirement (English/Spanish) is a critical differentiator.

📈 Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of a variety of research methods, including user interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, usability testing, and diary studies, to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

  • Synthesize research findings from multiple sources (qualitative, quantitative, behavioral data) into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights that inform product design and business strategy.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Data Analysts to identify key research questions, integrate research into the product development lifecycle, and ensure alignment on customer understanding.

  • Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, through presentations, reports, and workshops.

  • Champion the customer perspective across the organization, advocating for user needs and ensuring that product decisions are user-centered.

  • Mentor and guide designers, product managers, and other stakeholders in research best practices, helping them to conduct effective user engagements and integrate user feedback into their work.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of Booksy's research practice, methodologies, and tooling.

  • Manage research projects, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation, to ensure timely delivery of insights.

📝 Enhancement Note: The responsibilities highlight a blend of hands-on research execution and strategic influence. The expectation to "synthesize data from across the business" and "align stakeholders on customer understanding" points to a role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, not just research methodology expertise. The mentoring aspect is key for a senior role, indicating an expectation to elevate the research maturity of the broader product team.
