The emphasis on "shaping product decisions," "driving decisions that directly impact product strategy," and "mentoring non-researchers" suggests a strong focus on impact and influence beyond just delivering findings. The bilingual requirement (English/Spanish) is a critical differentiator.
📈 Primary Responsibilities
-
Lead the design, execution, and analysis of a variety of research methods, including user interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, usability testing, and diary studies, to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
-
Synthesize research findings from multiple sources (qualitative, quantitative, behavioral data) into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights that inform product design and business strategy.

📝 Enhancement Note: The responsibilities highlight a blend of hands-on research execution and strategic influence. The expectation to "synthesize data from across the business" and "align stakeholders on customer understanding" points to a role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, not just research methodology expertise. The mentoring aspect is key for a senior role, indicating an expectation to elevate the research maturity of the broader product team.
