🚀 Role Summary

  • Lead the strategic refinement and operational execution of UX localization programs for global consumer products, ensuring seamless cultural adaptation and user experience across multiple brands and markets.

  • Drive the end-to-end service delivery for UX content localization, leveraging AI automation, machine translation, and LLM-assisted reviews to enhance scalability, efficiency, and quality.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration by providing technical guidance to product managers, engineers, and designers, integrating localization requirements early in the product development lifecycle.

  • Manage external translation vendors and agencies, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintaining rigorous quality assurance standards for linguistic accuracy and consistency.

📈 Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic UX Localization Framework Development: Collaborate with the Head of Content Design & Localization to define and implement a specialized strategy for localizing UX content, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and brand consistency.

  • End-to-End Localization Program Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of UX content localization, from planning and vendor selection to execution and quality assurance, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • AI-Enabled Workflow Design and Implementation: Design, build, and integrate automated localization processes, including machine translation (MT), Large Language Model (LLM)-assisted content reviews, and automated Quality Assurance (QA) checks to significantly improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Cross-Functional Technical Guidance: Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical insights and guidance to product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure localization considerations are embedded into product discovery, feature development, and campaign planning from the outset.

  • External Vendor and Agency Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for external translation vendors and agencies, managing relationships, negotiating contracts, and rigorously monitoring performance against established SLAs and quality benchmarks.

  • Process Optimization and Tool Utilization: Conduct continuous audits and optimizations of localization workflows within key tools such as Lokalise and Jira, aiming to accelerate delivery cycles and maximize resource utilization.

  • Linguistic Quality Assurance and Testing: Establish and maintain robust testing systems for live environments to guarantee linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and a consistent, high-quality user experience across all targeted languages and markets.

  • Localization Best Practices Advocacy: Champion and disseminate localization best practices, expertise, and organizational maturity across the HelloTech organization to elevate global product standards and user experience.
