Summary
Volley needed a design team to assist in developing white label digital products, while also collaborating closely with their engineers to grasp the technical specifications, limitations, and opportunities across various use cases: their garage in San Francisco, as well as location specific garages for their clients.
They wanted to make their robot-packed garages a breeze for car owners to use with a Mobile App and Kiosk interface. Plus, they needed a slick management tool to keep all that high-tech complexity in check behind the scenes.
Volley leverages cutting edge robotics and artificial intelligence to enable conventional garages to operate at substantially higher spatial efficiency - improving both financial returns and developmental viability.
Customer Challenge
TDP had to make sure the solutions could be implemented, considering the complex backend systems and robotics in their garages. Through workshops, ideation sessions, strategic rollout planning, and innovation, a seamless suite of white-label products was created. These products were designed to guide the end-user effortlessly and could be customized to align with customer branding when needed.

How we did it
We streamlined Volley's digital branding capabilities using smart, connected Figma libraries.
This approach allows for instant updates with just a single change to the primary Library. It's an efficient and seamless way for Volley to create cohesive brand identities across all products, as well as branding the products for their customers.
Kiosk Interface
Volley faced the challenge of accommodating users without mobile phones in their garages. We crafted a kiosk interface that offered a straightforward and fast method for users to park or retrieve their vehicles, emphasizing clarity and simplicity. Additionally, this interface required a white-label design, ensuring a seamless integration with varying brand identities for a cohesive user experience.
Automated Branding
Attendant Interface - Project Summary
We also designed their internal interface to enable attendants to effortlessly control and interact with sophisticated robotic systems, ensuring a seamless operational experience.
The garage interface is crafted for intuitive use, allowing attendants to quickly spot and rectify errors. It provides a clear view of the system's health and enables easy manipulation of functions like turning on/off, moving, stopping, and charging.
The challenge was to develop a dashboard that is comprehensive yet user-friendly, containing all necessary data without overwhelming the user with technical complexities.
