Customer Challenge
David Energy's Small Commercial team is dedicated to helping businesses manage their energy efficiently. Facility managers need a clear, intuitive view of their energy usage. Our goal was to establish ourselves as trusted energy advisors.
We redesigned their platform to provide managers with all necessary information for optimal energy management, highlighting any issues that could lead to higher bills. We enhanced the entire customer experience, from the platform to customer communications, ensuring the best service for David Energy’s clients.

The home page has been redesigned to allow users to quickly assess the health status of all their locations, thermostats, and billing data in one place.
Control Room
Easily manage thermostats to override any changes if needed, while ensuring smart usage of the grid with automatic issue resolution.
Energy Spending
Provide users with an overview of their energy usage across months, including all billing information and any issues that may arise, as well as help for their solutions.
Control Room
A complete audit of the thermostat’s issues was conducted to improve device management for managers. This included complex wireflows showing all the backend implications and how they appeared on the front end.
This way, we ensured that we covered all edge cases, happy paths, and error states, always aiming to provide clarity to users and the engineers at David Energy who manage these.
The redesigned platform provides businesses with a comprehensive view of their energy usage.
Results
David Energy can now effectively flag issues, recommend changes, and ensure that energy bills remain as low as possible through the intelligent use of smart devices.
