🚀 Role Summary

  • Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of innovative physical reward products for loyalty campaigns, focusing on driving shopper engagement and delivering measurable value.

  • Translate consumer insights, brand objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into compelling, commercially viable reward solutions across diverse materials and product categories.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Directors, Licensing, Category Management, Sales, and internal design teams to ensure creative excellence and commercial relevance in product offerings.

  • Develop and present product concepts, design rationale, and campaign narratives clearly to internal teams and clients, leveraging a blend of traditional design skills and emerging AI-powered tools.

📈 Primary Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the end-to-end design and development lifecycle of physical rewards for loyalty campaigns, from initial ideation and sketching through prototyping to final production readiness.

  • Create feasible, safe, and production-ready product concepts utilizing a wide range of materials, including paper, plastic, metal, plush, and textiles.

  • Design innovative packaging concepts and develop supporting visual assets that strictly adhere to brand, licensor, and campaign guidelines.

  • Foster close collaboration with Creative Directors, Licensing, Category Management, Sales teams, and fellow Designers to ensure creative output meets both artistic standards and commercial viability.

  • Strategically translate project briefs, consumer insights, and defined KPIs into innovative product ideas designed to increase shopper frequency, elevate spend, and deepen emotional connection with brands.

  • Clearly articulate concepts and present detailed design rationale to internal teams and external clients, effectively influencing decision-making.

  • Proactively stay abreast of industry, retail, and loyalty marketing trends to inform design decisions and ensure the continuous relevance of product offerings.

  • Provide creative support for licensor pitches and manage all creative elements throughout the Intellectual Property (IP) lifecycle.

  • Contribute to compelling storytelling and campaign narratives for both licensed and original concept developments.

  • Analyze insights and translate them into actionable recommendations to enhance TCC's creative solutions, product development processes, corporate events, and retail activations.

  • Engage in international travel to stay informed about emerging industry trends, attend key trade fairs, brand events, and relevant consumer experiences.

  • Product Design Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience in designing physical products and collectibles across a diverse range of materials, with a capacity for rapid iteration and cross-team input.

  • Packaging Design Proficiency: Skilled in both structural and graphic aspects of packaging development, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functional integrity.

  • Creative Software Proficiency: Expert command of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge), Figma, and familiarity with 3D design and rendering software such as Solidworks, Z-Brush, Maya, Cinema4D, KeyShot, and Twinmotion.

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams for collaboration and presentation.

  • AI Design Tools: Experience leveraging AI tools for design, including CoPilot, Gemini, Adobe Firefly, Canva Magic Studio, and Midjourney for rapid prototyping, creative ideation, and exploring AI-driven design workflows.
