<p><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>Job Summary:</strong></span> This is an exciting role in an innovative, high-growth defense technology company. We are seeking a full-time creative and detail-oriented Product UI Designer who can independently deliver polished, user-focused interfaces for our digital products. You’ll work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers – taking concepts from wireframes through to pixel-perfect implementation – while contributing to our design system and ensuring consistency across platforms.</p>

<p>• Design intuitive, visually engaging UI for web and mobile products, balancing creativity with usability<br>• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering to translate requirements into effective visual solutions<br>• Contribute to and help evolve our design system, ensuring brand consistency and scalability.<br>• Produce detailed design specs and assets for seamless developer handoff<br>• Participate actively in design critiques, offering and integrating feedback to strengthen designs<br>• Partner with developers to review builds and maintain design quality<br>• Stay current on UI trends, patterns, and tools to continuously improve design output</p>
<h2><strong><span data-contrast="none">Basic Qualifications:</span></strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent professional experience</li>
<li>2 years of UI design experience in a product environment</li>
<li>Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools</li>
<li>Strong grasp of typography, color theory, grid systems, and responsive design</li>
<li>Proven ability to work independently while collaborating in cross-functional teams</li>
<li>Portfolio demonstrating well-executed UI design work for digital products</li>
</ul>
<h2><span data-contrast="none">Preferred Skills and Experience:</span> </h2>
<p>• Familiarity with motion design or prototyping tools<br>• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)<br>• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to support developer collaboration<br>• Good written and oral communication skills <br>• Collaborative; capable of working across all levels of the organization <br>• Organized; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment</p>

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. </em></div><div class="title">For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is: </div><div class="pay-range"><span>$118,500</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$145,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
