Graphic Designer

Your focus is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. Communication with others is based on knowledge of repetitive job routines and procedures gained from sufficient on the job experience. This position is designed to develop a valued technical expert, who, recognized and supported by management and a stable work environment, can deliver quality work on a consistent basis. Designs, lays out, and prints marketing material by performing the following duties.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Reads work orders to determine type of sign specified, work procedures, and materials required.
Formulates concept and renders illustration and detail from models, sketches, memory, and imagination.
Creates, draws, modifies, and changes design to achieve desired effect.
Prioritizes, tracks, handles, and maintains records of the costs, and time schedules of multiple projects.

Qualifications

QUALIFACATIONS

Required Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Design software; Internet software and Microsoft Office to include Outlook. Must have knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
