Amazon Devices is looking for a Visual Designer to join the Brand Studio team. Brand Studio helps bring new device offerings to market—products, services, brands, and categories—by creating digital assets that engage and attract customers on Amazon.com and in Retail Stores.
This Visual Designer will support digital campaigns and initiatives across Amazon Devices, producing digital assets that engage and attract customers on Amazon.com and beyond, while working closely with a global team of senior designers, art and creative directors, writers, program managers and production teams.

Key job responsibilities
- Execute high-quality digital assets that support marketing and merchandising campaigns for Amazon Devices across online and offline channels.
- Apply established brand guidelines, design systems, and templates to maintain consistency across assets.
- Apply design knowledge to bring sketches and ideas to life as production-ready assets.
- Apply basic layout and composition skills to build Detail Pages and new asset types as business needs evolve.
- Prepare files for production following established standards (naming conventions, file organization, optimized exports).
- Ensure designs are optimized for multiple platforms (desktop, mobile, email, social).
- Provide tactical input that aligns with program creative strategy.
- Follow defined creative parameters (e.g., formats, media, asset types) to deliver work that meets requirements.
- Prioritize your own work queue and deliver assets on time, escalating risks when needed.
- Apply accessibility and inclusivity best practices in visual design.
- Collaborate with peers, project managers, and other creative disciplines to support campaign goals.
- Document deliverables and status in team systems (trackers, SOPs, wikis).
- Stay current with design trends and best practices to help improve the quality of deliverables.
- Support refreshes and improvements to Amazon Devices presence across channels. Basic Qualifications: - An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating visual design skills, including marketing or brand-related creative.
- 2–4 years of professional design experience (in-house, agency or freelance).
- Experience working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and familiarity with Figma.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative direction.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Experience with photo retouching and the ability to transform sketches or rough ideas into polished, production-ready assets.
- Basic experience in layout and design composition for Detail Pages and new asset types as business needs evolve.
- Familiarity with production standards including file prep, naming conventions, and asset optimization.
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
- Demonstrated ability to apply feedback and iterate quickly. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with design systems and how to work within them.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX and usability considerations for digital design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and project managers.
- Interest in learning how to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn from peers, participate in training, and grow knowledge in the craft.
- Exposure to motion graphics or responsive/adaptive design is a plus.
