OXIO Case Study


OXIO is the first carrier-as-a-service platform for brands and enterprises.


OXIO needed to design a rewards feature for their app. Using brand guidelines and UX best practices for rewards systems, we designed a fun and easy to use UX for OXIO's users. Our final design included a new color scheme for the rewards feature, a custom, branded illustration, and empty-state design solutions.

Budget conscious mobile users in Mexico

OXIO’s end users are shoppers primarily based in Mexico. Our solution must be quick and easy to use for users while they are in the middle of an in-store checkout experience.

Simplifying the deal-hunting experience

TDP designed a solution that included a rewards balance and history, a fun and easy to use "find rewards", and information about the rewards.

Show vs Tell

The final design is a UX experience that makes it easy for users to be able to move through the experience seamlessly. The overall UI conveys a fun, engaging feeling that allows users to feel at ease when performing the task of getting rewards.


Increased brand loyalty

With this new feature, Oxio increased brand loyalty for its customers by creating new opportunities for consumers to connect with brands and earn from purchases.
